While I know that Exum & Catherine Lamb Elliott came to Wayne Co, IN (West Grove MM)--my understanding is that Jacob & Sarah Stone Lamb both lived and died in Guilford Co, NC, and I have never heard that Jacob Lamb fought in the Revolution. I could be wrong on both of those points, however. Would be glad to share whatever info I have. Joyce Joyce Overman Bowman Indianapolis, IN
I do have Jacob Lamb dying in HENRY CO, INDIANA, but my dates are different. I have his death as 1831. That is all I have on him except his marriage to Sarah Stone. Hi Joyce Jacob Lamb's will was probated in November 1800 in Randolph Co., NC. He never lived in Indiana, but his daughter Catherine moved to Indiana with her husband Exum Elliott in 1807.
