I would check with the genealogy department of your local library. After finding the index, I was able to order the relevant pages via the inter library loan system. Edwina I'm a newcomer to the list, and relatively new to genealogy. Looking for feedback on two books I'm looking to purchase. #1 Early Church Records of Burlington County, NJ, Volume 3 (by Meldrum). I do have Quaker history in Burlington County, so that seemed like a good one. #2 Index to Hinshaw's Enclcylopedia of American Quaker Genealogy (by Hinshaw). I've read lots of raves for this book, but I won't have easy access to the Encyclopedia itself. Would Volume 2 (New Jersey and Pennsylvania Monthly Meetings) be a better purchase, seeing as how my family resided in those states? Thanks for any descriptions or endorsements you might have. Lance
