Rick, I haven't run across that name, but I'll keep an eye out for it. My research is narrow because I am working as a volunteer for the Bates Association looking specifically at William Bates and his contemporaries who came over around 1680 to settle that area. I have several other requests for names with which I am not familiar. I will keep your request with the others and if I run across anything, I'll let you know. The early settlers if this colony either did not keep records or their records have been lost. This is frustrating research because there just isn't much information. I hope I will be able to help you at some point. I think my ancestor may have been Quaker.
