    3. I have abstracts of some of the Indiana records you may want on the Henbys. Referring to the Heiss Abstracts of the Society of Friends in Indiana, vol. 4, I find the families of two of the children of John and Mary Henby listed in detail in the birth/death records at Milford Monthly Meeting in Wayne County. The families detailed are Eli, with wife Gulielma (Bell) and six children, and Elias, with wife Phebe (Symons) and five children, and 2nd wife Elizabeth (Henby). The minutes of Milford list: William, Eli & Elias rocf Suttons Creek MM, NC 5-28-1836. Elias' marriage to Phebe Symons is recorded 2-28-1838. 5-25-1839 Elias & w Phebe gct Walnut Ridge MM, Ind. 1-28-1846 Eli's marriage to Gulielma Bell is recorded. 4-26-1856 Elias & ch Martha Ann, John, Sarah, Phebe E & Elizabeth W rocf Walnut Ridge MM, Ind 2-28-1857 Elias gct Walnut Ridge to m Elizabeth T Henby 10-24-1857 Elizabeth T rocf Walnut Ridge MM, Ind 2-22-1879 Elias & w Elizabeth gct Wabash MM, Ind I can copy pages with a little more detail if you need them. The marriage entries list the parents of the couples, and the birth/death listings give dates for Eli's children. I also omitted a couple of the minutes that were misconduct reports on children of Eli or Elias. Under Duck Creek Monthly Meeting (Greensboro, Henry County), I find this listing: 6-25-1835 Mary (w of John decd of NC) & her minor ch John, Sarah, Ephraim B, Martha, Mary & William rocf Suttons Creek MM, N C (Her older ch settled in Milford MM, & were, Willis, Eli & Elias Henby) (It appears that Mary was a dt of John & Lydia (White) Bogue) Under Walnut Ridge MM (near Carthage, Rush County), I find the following: Another family group listing for Elias Henby. This listing records three marriages, the first to Phebe Symons, the second to Elizabeth White, dt Bethuel C & Hannah (Binford), and the third to Elizabeth L (Henley), dt Elias & Judith. This listing also records a daughter, Elizabeth, from the second marriage, which was not listed at Milford. You may already have this info. It appears they were also members at Westland MM in western Hancock County for a time (this is not many miles from Walnut Ridge). Westland is not in my volume of the Heiss, but the full Heiss set is available in many genealogical libraries and there are also other persons on this list who have the full set, so if you need help pursuing this angle you might try posting again.
