Philadelphia Monthly Meeting for the Western District merged into Philadelphia MM Hicksite and the merged meeting became Central Philadelphia MM. http://www.quakermeetings.com/viewRecord_display?anID=TST1432L [single-line URL] That seems the most likely meeting for your search. There was also a Baltimore, Western District http://www.quakermeetings.com/search_display?MeetingName=western+distric t&County=&StateOrProvince=&generalSearchWord= , but both branches changed their name long after the separation. If your family's transfers were to Orthodox meetings like Philadelphia, Western District and you later need to check Baltimore, I suggest you start with Homewood. Tom Thomas C. Another family member went to the Western District monthly Meeting. The only Upper Springfield Meeting that I've been able to identify was the one in Columbiana Co, OH. Was there another? and how would I find records for that Meeting other than what Hinshaw has in Encyclopedia Vol. 4? Are the Western District Minutes available somewhere? The people I'm searching are Sarah Beakes Pearson Coleman, husband James Coleman, children Isaac Pearson Coleman and James Beakes Coleman and Elizabeth Coleman. Thanks for any help Merry Anne
