I wonder if anyone can tell me if the Edward Sharpless born 27 May 1831 and died, unmarried, 10 May 1899, the son of Blakey Sharpless (1787-1853) and Mary Offley (1793-1865), was a Conservative Friends Minister? He may have traveled as a Friends minister to Pasadena, California in January 1887 and then on to Santa Barbara, California. Any information is welcome.
