(produced certificate from) 08-04-1757 Obediah ltm Lydia Bundy (letter to marry, at liberty to marry) I have Obediah as the son of Obediah Small and Sarah I have this Obediah as born circa 1692-1700 and dying 9-15-1788 Pasquotank County, NC some have Sarah as a Moore --some as a Symons she supposedly married a John Pike after the death of Obediah Sr. Some speculate this was a second marriage as he left her very little in his will, saying that the estate that she had upon their marriage would take care of her needs. Some go so far as to say this Obediah was fictional and did not exist ---- I am seeking some proof of his existance -- copy of his will of 1788 --- proof of marriage --- which John Pike did she marry --- there were several! I question that she did marry after Obediah --given her age these people were Quaker --- Obediah and Sarah ( by my records) had 14 children Does anyone out there have more information on this Small family?
