In my query about indentured servants of the Quakers I didn't mention that Allegheny Co. was in the south west section of Pennsylvania. I am searching a Mitchell family that was Scotch/Irish and were in Allegheny Co. Pa. in the early 1700's. (my ancestor James Mitchell was b.1799 there). It was also a largely Quaker area that had many Scotch/Irish indentured servants. I thought I would take a stab at the fact that maybe this family was indentured.
