Just checked this out and I was wondering. Is this book considered very reliable, pretty good, or just so-so? I've seen it quoted as as source a lot on the WorldConnect family trees I've been looking at. Before I go wild entering info from it into my database, I thought I'd check. Thanks for your opinions. Is there an electronic copy of this book, which can be downloaded, or sent through e-mail? Also has it been filmed for loan from the Family History Center. Thanks for any information, even if it is negative. A second question. The index of the library copy is damaged, p 465 and on are torn or gone. (I hate when people cut stuff out of library books) Is there a copy of the index posted somewhere online? The last clear name on pg 464 is about the Morton family. And I want to look up the Starr family. <pout> I don't really have time to read the whole thing, although it might be interesting. Of your three categories, I'd put it in the "very reliable" group. I've used it extensively, and don't recall finding any errors. Of course I haven't checked every statement. Albert Cook Myers generally has a good reputation as a genealogist and historian. Tom Hamm >Just checked this out and I was wondering.
