    3. Judy, I am related to the Binns and also have ties to the Carrs, Tuttles, and Underwoods. I also have pages that were takenfrom a family bible that has information regarding the Binns and Carr families. I would love to share more with you regarding what I know. I am assuming that you have seen this thread? http://boards.ancestry.myfamily.com/localities.northam.usa.states.michigan.counties.lenawee/2790.2.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx Have a great day, Brad

    3. Hello , All!   I am in need of some info and  advice....some of my ancestors were active in the Birch Lake MM in Cass cty, MI.   My questions and need for advice- my family has a reunion every year in September- we are in need of a location for this year and I wonder if it would be appropriate to approach whomever owns the property (presuming it is still a church? or similar?) where the mtgs used to be held-- I would like to introduce my family to their ancestors and the proud heritage  and felt that this would be a perfect location--   so--comments? advice? is this a major faux pas???? does anyone know whom I should contact? I am in Ohio. Thank you!

    2. All that remains at the site of the original Birch Lake Friends Meeting is the cemetery, which is still used. There is a Friends Meeting in the nearby town of Penn, which was established by Birch Lake Friends. The pastor is Bill Bruneau. You might try contacting him. His email is [email protected] Tom Hamm > Hello , All! >   > I am in need of some info and  advice....some of my ancestors were active > in the Birch Lake MM in Cass cty, MI. >   > My questions and need for advice- my family has a reunion every year in > September- we are in need of a location for this year and I wonder if it > would be appropriate to approach whomever owns the property (presuming it > is still a church? or similar?) where the mtgs used to be held-- > I would like to introduce my family to their ancestors and the proud > heritage  and felt that this would be a perfect location-- >   > so--comments? advice? is this a major faux pas???? > does anyone know whom I should contact?
