My mother's father (Peacock) and mother (Moon) were from lines who were Friends: Peacock, via Asa from North Carolina (who was probably only marginally a Quaker). I am not clear on who the first Quaker is in Asa's Peacock line. Jim, do you know? My gr grandfather married a Smith of the Seth Smith (OH) line. Moon, via Simon b 1874 in North Carolina and probably Simon b 1700 Bucks Co., PA. The Moon men married various Mendenhall, Hinshaw, Stout, Perry women. To my knowledge Maude V.
