I'd be grateful to hear from fellow researchers of the descendants of Joseph (1728-1807) & Mary (1738-1820) PIERSON, Quaker settlers in Mill Creek Hundred, Delaware in 1760. The family has a rich heritage and was renowned for its grand five-year reunions held at the family's homestead near Hockessin, Delaware until about a generation ago. Unfortunately, with the lapse in reunions, the family records have started to become disturbingly out of date, and I'm hoping to prepare an update before further delay makes the task impossible. The first two generations of the family are shown below. I would look forward to comparing notes with anyone who has genealogical data or contact information for descendents of any of these lines. Also.... A revival of the family's reunions was held in 2006 and a second is being planned for later this summer. Any help in ensuring that all cousins are invited would be greatly appreciated! [I'm cc'ing to the WILSON, CLOUD and MENDENHALL groups because they were collateral lines which have figured prominently in the family and at past reunions.] TIA!
