A few people have sent or asked for information or photos on my Shubael Swain- just to make sure, since there is more than one, mine is the son of Ebenezer Swain and Lydia Ellis; he is reported to have died at sea in 1808 with a brother, but I have proved he didn't and it was the last proof I needed. He was in his parents 1813 will, and his brother wasn't- so something did happen, and he survived to live to be 72. He looks like Robert Burns. I really had an experience breaking this brick wall- the best thing that ever happened to me, as now I have tons of names of Swain relatives. Makes me feel very cozy. I have a lot of information on him, after he moves into NYC and on his descendants- I have done deep research on all of them for a book on my grandmother. Thanks, Sue
