When a researcher mentions Nantucket you know you have some common Quaker ancestors. My line, starting with Tristam COFFIN & Dionis STEVENS - John COFFIN and Deborah AUSTIN - Samuel COFFIN and Miriam GARDNER - William COFFIN and Priscilla PADDOCK. Other Nantucket ancestors of mine include SHATTUCK, STARBUCK, SEARS, BUNKER, GODFREY, MACY, HOPCOTT. Around the 1730s this line moved to North Carolina. I have many other Quaker ancestors, including MENDENHALL, that were in NC - Perquiman - Pasquotank and Guilford Counties. Sue, thank you very much for telling us about your books.
