Thanks, Judy. According to Carroll Brewster Jones (1951), Rachel Newton b. 9th of 8th month, 1662 at Corbally, Queen's County, Ireland was the daughter of Jonas Newton and Jane Urin, daughter of John Urin of Kinsale (p. 15). This family later moved to Old Booley, County Wexford. Context: While researching the relationship between Rachel Newton and Sir Isaac Newton, Jones corresponded with S. W. Webb, the Recording Clerk with the Religious Society of Friends in Ireland, 6 Eustace St., Dublin, Ireland. Source: Jones, C. B. (1951). Jones and related families. Marcellus, Michigan. Private.
