I am not sure where Palatine is but there were Germans Quakers. I have one such family. Germany only allowed a small number to be Quakers. Mine left Germany in the 1830s for America, living first to Ohio and then in Iowa. Ernest Heineirch KOELLING or KOLLING born Edinghausen, Minden, Germany. His first wife was Anna Marie Christine STIEGMANN and his second wife was Anna Elisabeth Margarethe Hanna WALLGER.
