    3. I'm sorry - I don't have any information on either Ann Moon or Elmira J. Moon. My direct Moon line has Simon in Indiana from North Carolina, first going to Lick Creek MM (Orange County, IN) and then Hamilton County (Westfield). 1. Re: [Q-R] Mendenhall, Moon, Peacock
    2. Hello,? I have direct Quaker ancestors Jacob Moon b. 1756 married to Ruth Hinshaw b. 1763. Jacob's father was James Moon. Supposedly his wife was Ann Mendenhall daughter of?John Mendenhall?III,?but that is disputed. I've never found actual?evidence for this, but she is on several reputable sites as having been married to James Moon. I have collateral Moon lines married into the?Peacock family. ?Here is the link to my?Moon family on my site:? ??http://shasta4737.tribalpages.com/tribe/browse?userid=shasta4737&view=0&pid=22&rand=16809306 Maybe this will help someone. I would enjoy sharing information. Thanks! Susan ?PS Several people in my family are still Quakers. I'm a "birthright" Quaker whatever that really means! ??????????????? -----Original Message----- From: Suzanne Brayer <[email protected]> To: [email protected]; David Young <[email protected]> Sent: Mon, 6 Apr 2009 3:31 pm Subject: Re: [Q-R] Quaker ancestors; Moon & Peacock I have two collateral lines that married into MOON.Ann Moon married Benajah Binford in 1844 at the Walnut Ridge MM in Rush Co Indiana.
