Sally - I meant to send this to the whole Q-R list and didn't so resending it and hope someone kept the replies. ----------- That would have been me, I believe. Sally, I responded to the list on all of your concerns (at least I tried to), but do not keep my messages unless they pertain to my family or need follow-up. Perhaps you can access the list's archives and find it or maybe another list member held on to their copy. I asked if the Society actually physically conducts or assists Members with Genealogical Research .... also does the Society maintain a Web-site,...... similar to the DAR ? The DAR is a similar Society but they have extensive research help and Library as well as a Web-site with information, plus local Chapters with monthly meetings......I live in Fla. so cannot attend meetings in Wash. State, but do at my local DAR Chapter..... I would like to point out that DAR Membership is cheaper, as well......and that someone Researching their Quaker ancestors has many facilities open and available to them because the Quakers kept such good records.... so I repeat the question of another correspondent, " What do you get for your $235.00 ? " Thanks, sally
