my name is Cornelia Fenenga Warner, and I currently reside in Medford, Oregon, USA. I've been researching my ancestry since 1997, and have traced a large Quaker branch of my ancestral tree through out much of England, a little into Ireland, and my branch, which left the faith, removed to America in 1841/42. another branch went into Australia and I suspect there may be Canadians, as well. Edmond Cross(e) b. abt 1620-1624, of Woodbridge, possible son of Edmond Crosse and Ann of Framlingham, is our earliest known ancestor. Edmond Cross(e) m. Sarah, mnu (maiden name unknown) around 1646/47 and they had 9 known children. in 1655 Edmond removed his family from the CofE, which they were never true members of, and joined the Woodbridge Quaker meeting. of Edmond and Sarah's 9 children, 4 are known to have married; 1Peter who m. 1st Johannah mnu, 2nd Elizabeth Peckover 2Edmond who m.1st Sarah Mason, 2nd Frances mnu 3Sarah who m. Jonathan Seaman 4Susannah who m. John Freeman Peter m. Johannah and they had 8 children, only 1 of whom is known to have m.-Edmond Cross, whom I descend from. most of his siblings died young. Peter m. Elizabeth Peckover and they had 9 children, 3 of whom are known to have married and the Quaker Harris's of Surrey, Middlesex and London are of this line. Edmond m. Sarah Mason and they had 6 children, one of whom is known to have married, and they are not yet traced...the Larkes of London and Ireland are their link, still stuck in the early 1700's with this branch. Edmond m. Frances mnu (she wed thrice before him, but the first marriage eludes me) and they had no offspring that I can find. Sarah m. Jonathan Seaman and they had one child-she died of childbirth problems and for some odd reason the Quaker records have her dead 18 days before her son was born. I am still stuck in the early 1700's with this line. Susannah Cross m. John Freeman, aparently outside the faith but not CofE, and they had 5 known children, nothing more is known of this line but I suspect they are related to John Freeman who m. Susannah Rayner, my 6x great grandparents. therein are the first set of early branches in my tree. another email for other branches....this is enough for now... Cornelia
