Hi all, I am researching the following KERR family who immigrated to North Hatley area, Compton County, Quebec in 1840s from Ireland (Antrim?). The names mentioned are KERR, HENDERSON, ELLIOTT, CARBEE, BALL and FULLER. According to the 1851 Quebec census the KERR family was as follows: James KERR ,age 43, so b. abt. 1808 (his tombstone says he was born 1804 so which date is incorrect?) Jane HENDERSON KERR - wife, age 41, (tombstone says b. 1810) Children: 1. James ,age 22 (born about 1830) m. a Catherine 2. Catherine, age 17 (b. abt. 1834) 3. Jemina, age 14 (b. abt. 1837) m. an Wm. ELLIOTT, then Alphonso CARBEE 4. William, age 11 (b. 1841, according to family records) m. Sarah "Maria" BALL 5. Sarah, b. 1847 m. James FULLER in 1869. Does anyone see any connections? Any help is greatly appreciated. Joan Miller millerj@cadvision.com Calgary, Alberta
