Bob Carr Thank you for letting us know of the passing of George Skilling. I don't know or didn't know of the gentleman, but I offer my sympathy to you in you loss. Do you know anything of Mr. Skilling's files? Had he been working with the Richmond Historical Society and/or the Richmond Museum? In preparation for a KERR Family Festival scheduled for July 27, 28, 29, 2001, I will be visiting the Richmond area during July and August. There are KERR descendants still in the area and elsewhere who have done extensive research in Scotland as well as in Richmond County. Do you have any recommendations for me as to particular people and places to visit with KERR research my goal? The KERRs arrived in Quebec in 1867 and established a homestead at 1244 Spooner Pond Road which building still stands today but is not owned by KERRs. There were ten children born from 1861 to 1881.
