Hi List, I have searched just about everywhere and cannot come across a piece of document that shows the relationship between a son and his parents. Calvin Richardson and Nancy Streeter Richardson were married in Richmond, NH and shortly there after, bought some property and moved to South Stukely, Shefford, Quebec. The had at least one child, William Russel Richardson. He was born in 1833/34. I have William's marriage document to Charlotte Todd in 1853, which states he was 21 years old, but it does not give the parents of either bride or groom. It states that both were born in Canada. Several years after the marriage of William and Charlotte, they moved to Wolcott, Lamoille, VT with several young children. William's mother died in South Stukely in 1866. I have her death document. Calvin eventually moved to VT to live with his son. I am looking for any kind of document that would link William with Calvin and Nancy Richardson and also any other Richardsons that were born in South Stukely. I will pay for all documents, copying, postage, etc. I am handicapped and do not drive so I cannot get to the FHC in my area very often. All help in this matter would be extremely appreciated. Thanks for your time and any help. BTW, the Richardsons were Protestants and some became Methodists and others, Unitarian Universalists. I tend to lean toward Methodist as years later, the grandson of Calvin and Nancy, Nelker (aka Elkanah) Richardson joined with the Salvation Army which was an off-shoot of the Methodist Church.
