    3. Meoldy/Perry: Ingersoll Rand was (is?) in Sherbrooke near the intersection of Galt Street and Belvedere, if I recall correctly. They manufactured machinery for the pulp and paper industry, as well as heavy equipment during WW2. Sangster was a prominent name in Sherbrooke associated with the Ingersoll Rand. I am unsure of the possible connection, but as a child in the 1950s and 60s, I attended the Sangster Memorial Church in the west ward of Sherbrooke--the church was not far from Ingersoll Rand, so there well be a connection. I may have a photo of Mr. Sangster circa 1942.
