To all:- I can give no answer re your query, but here is a solution:- One photographer in Liverpool, Queens Co., Nova Scotia has made photos of ALL tombstones in ALL cemeteries of the county. The pictures are 4 inches by 6 inches, mounted on the left side of 8 1/2 x 11 heavy paper, with family history of that person (name on stone) at the right side. Should there be a person who does not have a tombstone to be photographed, the history is given anyway. The TIM MacDONALD COLLECTION can be seen at the Thomas H. Raddall Research Centre, part of the Simeon Perkins Historical Centre, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Recently, this project has been started in Brampton, Ontario, of stones in one cemetery - some of which are over 150 years old. I do not quite believe the CTV report, as stone removal has happened in other provinces - to make way for more graves. However, the stones are not re-inscribed, but moved to a new location, for example one might find stones for 20 people in a space where only five would be buried. I do not mind that concept -- it is better than burying stones. Muriel M.
