    1. [QC-ETANGLO] Alburgh Vol II, - A. Stratton's notes!
    2. Pam Wood Waugh
    3. Hello folks, Eva Clough was so kind to send me a copy of Paul Carnahan's message to her about the unpublished notes of Allen Stratton. As many of you already know, Allen published a marvelous book, "History of the Town of Alburgh, Vol I, back in 1986. The description indicated that the history was going to consist of two volumes. Allen Stratton was a wonderful man, and a great correspondent -- anyone who dealt with hiim over the years knew he was thoroughly involved in town histories within Grand Isle County, VT. We spent many letters discussing families who lived in Christie's and Caldwell's Manors who left records in Alburgh. Unfotunately, Allen passed away before another Alburgh publication was produced. Well, not so anymore! Anyway -- I have no knowledge of the format, and certainly have not seen this book as yet, but I am definitely ordering it today. Any of Allen's notes are very valuable in my mind. A big Thank-you to Eva Clough for her notice to me about this! Pam > >Alburgh Vol II is out! We are selling it for $18.00.
