I called St. Michaels in sherbrooke who said yes they have an old cemetary but all the records had been transferred to the Civil state office, 2050 Bleury St.(at pres. Kennedy) 6th floor in Montreal. the number is 864-3900. they are not open on saturdays but 8:30-4:30. still don't know when I'm going but I am trying to get my hands on a map of both Montreal and sherbooke so I could try to make it on a Friday afternoon when we arrive in Montreal.
