Derby, VT vital statistics, Book 2, pg 43, #24, Beecher, Albert R, res Herriford, PQ, 22, 1st marriage, b Herriford, Que; Parents: Chester A & Martha J (Flanders) Beecher Rosette Jenkins, res Herriford, PQ, 34, 1st m, b Plainfield, VT Parents: Wm J & Christianna (Perkins) Jenkins married by Wm S Robbins, JP, Derby, VT, 20 October 1878 Looking for parents & family of Henry William BEECHER (Mother: Mary ?) found in 1861 Falmouth, Hants Co Census. One of his wives was a Margaret Fisher and children's names may include Elizabeth (Bessie/Nellie), George, and Rose. A shoemaker and Baptist minister, he went to Orleans/Essex Co, VT area in mid-1860's or early 1870's. He was listed as a Boot & Shoemaker in Irasburg in 1883-84 and apparently moved to West Charleston, VT in the late 1880's, dying there in 1892. Some of his family migrated to the E Douglas, MA,/Pascoag, RI area after that time. My g-grandmother, Elizabeth married Francis (Frank) Blay, prob in Canaan, Vt circa 1876 and trying to figure out why they were in the area.
