Hi Karen, I contacted the Quebec National Archives today in regard to land grants, I was told that the letters, AA Grants etc., are a reference, or a finding aid used to locate the records. If you have all the necessary information (such as is contained in the Index to Land Grants) you can write to the QNA and obtain a copy of the actual deed to the property. Carol
