Death Removed Prominent Man Of Coaticook - BRYANT J. SMITH, Highly-Esteemed Resident and One of Town's Leading Merchants, Has Passed ON - Coaticook, June 22 - BRYANT J. SMITH, a highly-esteemed resident of this community and one of its leading merchants for over fifty years, passed away at his home here yesterday. MR. SMITH, who had conducted a large wholesale and retail business, retired from active work about thirteen years ago and since that time had spent the winters in Florida. For the past two years, his health had gradually failed. The deceased was born in Maine eighty-four years ago. On December 1st, 1877, he married HARRIETTA (ARIETTA) FROST, of Dixville, who survives him with one son, STEWART C. SMITH, of Coaticook. Sincere sympathy is extended by all to his widow and son in their bereavement. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Child Street tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, D.S.T.
