Hi: I have the marriage of Edwidge Danneu to Hector Choquette on 15 Jan 1906 at Sacre-Coeur, Stanstead. Her parents are listed as Joseph Danneau and Philomene Belon. On the 1901 census, there is an Edwidge listed with parents as Daniels, with Joseph and Phoebe V as parents. I have the marriage of Joseph Danneu as 12 Oct 1884 at Sacre-Coeur, Stanstead to Philomene Belon. Parents were Louis Emmanuel & Adele (Provencher) Danneau and Joseph Beloin and Marie (Raymond) Belon. Is there anyone who could check Sacre-Coeur records and see if there is a baptism for Edwidge under the name Daigenault, with perhaps spelling of Edwige or a variation of Danneau. I have a feeling this last name may be one of many variations. I did find a Louis Daigneau and Adeli listed on the 1881 census living in Stanstead Plain, who may be Joseph Danneau's parents.
