SERVED THROUGHOUT WHOLE OF AMERICAN CIVIL WAR AND WAS WITH FORCES IN NORTHWEST. WATERVILLE, Feb. 19 - (Special) DR. REGINALD A. D. KING died at his residence here this morning at the age of 69 years. The deceased was well known throughout the district, having been in practice in Compton before coming to this place. He is survived by a widow, (Note: 2nd wife: KATHERINE DOBSON GALE) one daughter and three sons. The funeral will be held at St. John's Church, Waterville, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., and the interment will be at Compton. The late DR. REGINALD A. D. KING was born in Quebec city in the year 1845, being the son of the late REV. WM. KING, Anglican minister of that city. He was educated at Bishop's College School, Lennoxville, and in 1868 received his M. D. Degree from McGill University. He entered the Canadian Militia as an ensign in 1863, and was a graduate of the Military School. He occupied the position of principal medical officer for a number of years. He served under the late Field Marshall SIR GARNET WOLSELEY in the Canadian West. He also served during the whole of the American Civil War as a medical officer. The deceased held other offices, including that of President of the ST. FRANCIS Medical Association, Chairman of the School Commissioners, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Forestry Congress, Washington, D. C. ====================
