Hello List, Thought I would post again my info hoping anyone can help. I have copies of Original Baptism and Burial record of Mary Danford Partlow June 3, Baptism--Mary Partlow On this third day of June 3, 1843 I baptized Mary, Daughter of Samuel Danford, formerly of Noyan and Mary his wife. Mary (dau) now the wife of John Partlow of Noyan, farmer, Mary born on the fourth day of June 1789, John Partlow her husband and Mary Mc Alister being witnesses signed, John Partlow and Mary McAlister M. Townsend, Rector 1843 July 23, Burial of Mary Partlow On this twenty third day of July 1843 the body of Mary Danford wife of John Partlow of Noyan, farmer, who deceased on the twenty first instant was interred in the presence of John Partlow her husband and George F. Salls, by me M Townsend, Rector, George F. Salls was Mary's brother in law, he was married to Elisabeth Danford John and Mary Danford Partlow's children were: William born 1807 / 1809 Lower Quebec Stephen born 1814 John born 1816 / 1817 Mary Ira Samuel Henry What I need help with is finding John Partlow's parents so I would need a date of death and place of death for him. He stayed in the Eastern Townships and was dead by 1853. The SALLS and BULLOCKS being related to Mary by marriage petitioned the Court at St. Francis for the Partlow Land in Hereford. I don't know if John lived there at one point. Only indication I have of course is that he was in Noyan. Where was Mary buried. I don't know what cemetary she is in. I have copies of Pam Wood Waughs church records but my Partlows are not in those books and marlene Simmons does not have anything on them either. One day soon I hope to join the Missiquoi Historical Soc. but I can't afford that right now. I can't find any info for Mary, Henry, Samuel, Ira the other four children of Mary & John. William, Stephen and John Jr. left Canada around 1840 to New York then to Michigan and Wisconsin and I have that info. census, etc. I am basically concentrating on the death of John Partlow, need burial record for him and hoping it will show his parents.
