Being contiguous to a station on the Grand Trunk Railway, it is distance from Portland 174 miles and from Montreal 118 miles. There is a daily stage to Barnston Corner, 5 miles, Stanstead Plain 13 miles, far $1, and one weekly to Hereford, 16 miles, fare $1.50. Mail daily. Population about 300.
