Jacki, Richard Greenleaf Smith, 30 Sep 1840 to 7 Sep 1930. Julia Evaline Chesley, 15 Jun 1844 - 26 Nov 1890. The two married on 24 May 1870 I don't have anything further on Richard Smith, but can put you in touch with someone who probably does. Julia Chesley is youngest of 10 children of John Brewster Chesley (1802-1867) and Ruth Draper (1806-1894). Her sister Lydia Chesley (1830-1890) is my GG GM. She married Orin Wilson (1828-1879). I think Richard's middle initial "L." in the 1901 census must be an enumerator's recording error or a misreading.
