    3. FYI--In the 1960s, my brother worked one summer on an archeological excavation on the island under the direction of the University of Sherbrooke. I would presume that the U de S would be a good potential source of historical information regarding Isle aux Noix. (presuming that the U de S Archeological Society stil exists today). I would expect them to have all sorts of interesting historical data.
