Hi all, I am looking for more information on the following KERR family and associated names in Ireland (Antrim Co.?) and Compton Co., Quebec. This family emigrated to Canada on or before 1847 and settled in the North Hatley/Waterville areas of Compton County in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. James KERR (1804-1873) m. Jane HENDERSON (1810-1885) Children: James KERR, jr. b. abt 1830 m. Catherine(McCuen) COCHRAN Catherine KERR b. abt 1834 m. Samuel MCKEE Jemina KERR b. abt 1837 m. 1)Wm ELLIOTT 2)Alphonso CARBEE William KERR b. 1841 m. Sarah "Maria" BALL Sarah KERR b. 1847 m. Joseph W. FULLER Sarah was born in Quebec. Not sure about the other children but probably they were born in Ireland. I am quite willing to swap information with anyone that can provide connections with this family.
