We have considered Hannah Sheldon Church as a good prospect for being the sister of Cecilia Wells Church, and thereby the aunt of our Harriet M. Berry. (In an article in a Forreston, IL newspaper, Cecilia Wells Church Richardson was referred to as the aunt of our Harriet M. Berry.) Hannah Sheldon Church was married to John Berry II on 2 Jan 1829 in the same Church of England, Shefford, Quebec, as Cecilia Wells Church who married George Herbert Richardson there in 1838. This would seem to suggest that Cecilia Wells Church and Hanna Sheldon Church might be related. Unfortunately, so far, we haven't been able to discover what the relationship might be, if there is one. At this point, we only know that Hannah Sheldon Church had the following siblings: Harriet Church, who married Thomas Craig in 1812, and Dudley Church, who married Nancy Scott in 1816. George Herbert Richardson, whose parents were Calvin and Nancy (Streeter) Richardson, is believed to have had the following siblings: William Russell Richardson, who married Charlotte M. Todd in 1853, and Roswell Wyman Richardson, who married Mary Wood in 1855. Another possible sibling is a Calvin S. Richardson. As you know, we are also considering the possibility that a sister to George Herbert Richardson married the father of Harriet M. Berry. If you should run into any other siblings and the parents of Cecilia Wells Church, and siblings of George Herbert Richardson, especially female siblings, we would be grateful for the information.
