Mr. Emery: I don't have any helpful information for you on Bockus, but noticed the name Bockus as being a name on my Miller Descendancy chart. My Miller line, on my mothers side, was in the Stanbridge Station area. Catherine Miller, born in 1875, who was a cousin of my grandmother's, married a man with the last name Bockus and they had a son Melvin and a daughter Anne I would guess were born between 1900 and 1903. Do you know if Bockus is an unusual name, or was it fairly common. I never did find out Catherine's husbands first name. Have you by any chance come across a Melvin Bockus in your research?
