THis is probably an impossible request but I have a relative who said he was b 4 Jul 1852 in Ma. He was found on a farm just north of Canaan, Essex Co, Vt sometime during the 1860s in Canada by farmers who had taken their haying equipment up there to help the Canadians. He was being abused in some way and brought him back to Canaan with them where he lived the rest of his life. This farm couldn't have been too far north of Canaan and would anyone have a clue or heard any relative mention such an occurance happening? I have searched his death, marriage certificates and certificates of his children's births but all say he was born in Ma, somewhere near Springfield. Thank you for ANY help! Nancy Gray
