Hi everyone! I have a confusing problem. I have followed my TURNER family back 5 generations, but that is where I run into a snag. I will try to explain! My g-g grandfather was ARTEMUS TURNER B.1853 D. 1927 Cherry River, Qc.,m. June 2, 1875 to MARY R. LEWIS b.1857 d.1906 Cherry River, Qc. Now, I believe his father was ISAAC TURNER, but I keep coming up with 2 ISAAC TURNERS: 1] ISAAC TURNER b. 1804 Sutton, Qc. d. Nov.2, 1888 Sutton Qc. m. April 8, 1847 to Eliza Moffit b. Oct. 1826 Sutton, Qc. d. April 1888 Sutton. 2] ISAAC TURNER b. 1804 Dunham, Qc. d. ? m. 1813 to Prudence Wilcox b. 1806 d. 1845. ( Please note the birth and marriage dates. I would think this is likely an error.) ISAAC # 2s father was ARTEMUS TURNER also and was born in Vt. April 21, 1775. He was married to Elizabeth Dunham b. Sept. 1, 1774 in Worcester, Ma. d. Oct. 1853. Isaac # 1s parents have not been located yet, at least not by me. If anyone can shed a little light on this problem, I would be very grateful.
