Hello Everyone, Reminder: The QFHS conference in June will be available at the cheaper rates only untl March 31st. Yes there will be a speaker dealing with Eastern Twp research as well as an expert speaking on land registry offices & how to access data via the internet, from anywhere in Qc. For those of you who don't already know, it is very hard (& expensive, if the notary is known) to gain access to notary records after 1900. The land registers often include "wills" & such - & yes these can all be accessed on line. The speaker will tell us how to do this.
