Hi Kathleen, I have been into the Drouin records for Montreal churches. My impression .....he seems to have included every church in Quebec.....wonderful!!! I have been searching mainly English Protestant churches. Found all the records I was looking for including a baptism in a Greek Orthodox. Also found Anglican records from Waterloo QC. I was very surprised as I thought it just covered French Catholics. A tip ....I couldn't find one church because it was Anglican, but recorded as Catholic. I have had better luck in just putting the important word in the "name", and then others in the "keywords" section. For instance, Rosemount First United Church in Montreal came up under "Montreal, Rosemont (United Church First)". Chances of anyone looking for it under that would be nil. Less is more, in this case. Another tip ....go to the Rootsweb site that describes Montreal Churches. Put that into Google and you will find it. Because so many English have left Quebec, many Protestant churches have been amalgamated over the years. That site is wonderful in tryng to figure out what church you should look for. For instance, when the United Church was formed in 1926, many churches changed their names or morphed. Hope this helps ......Gloria P.S. I used Drouin on an Ancestry.ca package.
