    3. Thanks Ernie, rumour has it that Sinney was actually born in Lyndon Vermont and I did find his parents and siblings on the 1850 census. I still have not really proven that Noble was his father. I do not know why they went to Vermont but I do not think it was for too long a time. Perhaps for work. What I really need is to see them on the 1861 census so I will try as you suggest. I did find a lookup person online for the 1861 and wrote to them but have not heard back yet. Nothing actually mentions his parents names, his baptism or his marriage but another researcher gave me Noble Donaghy and Anne Duff as his parents. As for the book, I do not think it would be worth my while to purchase it but I can view it at our reference library which is just a short bus ride away (parking requires a bank loan!).
