To all readers and transcribers:- I received an email from Fort Erie, asking "when will the Quebec census be finished" -- I am afraid I told him when the transcribers finished all the remaining many pages. Check http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ You will find there are many districts showing 100% - with the needed 50 lines per page. Quebec is presently at 70.65% with only Ontario, Manitoba, SAskatchewan, British Columbia and Alberta competing -- other provinces are 100% Check the following page -- Sutton, Brome, Quebec http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/Test2.jsp?sdid=6480 It is hoped Cindy Parker returns to finish Page 7 - only 6 lines Also Marilyn Davis has only 7 lines on Page 10 As for the last line it is claimed, but transcriber did not add BLANK lines to the 29 lines to make 50 Family researchers may transcribe his or her family -- but please DO NOT CLAIM the page, unless you do the 50 lines. [Tip:- Copy and Paste are great to transfer both typed data and other part of image to a new message - I have done it!] If pages are enumerated in French, they should be transcribed in French with accents -- I have these on a page I will forward. Also, I have other instructions for transcribing -- several pages, and have copied in one of my Canada Census Committee who will translate if necessary. Let's try and finish Quebec before one of the western provinces. Percentages per District/Province http://static.automatedgenealogy.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6474 Muriel M.
