'LEADVILLE CEMETERY This cemetery nestles in the woods close to the Vermont border. Tombstones date back to the mid 1800s. A small lead mine existed here near Lake Memphremagog. Colonel Franklin Hitchcock (1840-1914) of the E. 7_?_ N.Y. Infantry reposes here along with a remarkable number of stillborn children who died between 1844 and 1873.'
