    3. Hello, I have the original letter written in 1828 to the widow of Henry Mounsey by her brother-in-law Thomas Mounsey from Charleston extending his condolences to her. (I am still looking for a record with his wife's name on it.) I have a copy of the deed for the land he bought in 1795 in Mississquoi. In the letter, Thomas refers to his brother having "died in Quebec". Because of the time frame, would that mean Quebec City? Henry had been appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1808 in the Mississquoi area so I gather he was a man of some importance. Also, I have copies of some of the claims that were heard by him which were made after the War of 1812-14. (LDS Library, Salt Lake City). I am wondering where to look for an obituary for him. Would there be one in a local newspaper from Quebec City? If he died in Quebec City, would the body be transported back to the Mississquoi/St. John area for burial? Any suggestions about where to look for more information would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Gail Beal gailbeal@vif.com
