List members: Can anyone help me find more information on this family? Looking for the ancestry of Francis Bryant. I believe his parents may be Isaac and unknown. Isaac's Father is William or Isaac and he had brothers William, and Leslie. Issac had my Francis who married Susannah Griggs. William or Isaac was given a land grant in Potton, PQ along with one of his sons and the other one got land in Hemingford. These sons were Issac and Leslie. Issac married a Betsy and had Anne. My Francis and Susannah had Mary, Rosanna, Francis, Susannah, Gardner Childs, Wilford D., Hannah, and my line, Jared who married Fanny Bell. Most of these children were born in Shefford, Quebec. Susannah (Griggs) Bryant 's parents were Loyalists coming from Half Moon, NY and settling Alburgh, VT. When John Griggs died, widow Hannah (Scouten) Griggs and remaining family took up a land grant in Shefford. I believe that is how Francis and Susannah met. _Click here: Daughters of the American Revolution Magazine - Google Book Search_ (http://books.google.com/books?id=BvsKAAAAIAAJ&q=Issac+Bryant&dq=Issac+Bryant&ie=ISO-8859-1&pgis=1) ( _http://books.google.com/books?id=BvsKAAAAIAAJ&q=Issac+Bryant&dq=Issac+Bryant&ie=ISO-8859-1&pgis=1)_ (http://books.google.com/books?id=BvsKAAAAIAAJ&q=Issac+Bryant&dq=Issac+Bryant&ie=ISO-8859-1&pgis=1)) 1 page matching Issac Bryant in this book Page 1611 If anyone can help me trace the ancestry of Francis Bryant/Briant I would certainly appreciate it and am willing to share my information. I have a lot on the Griggs side and the descendants of Bryants. BTW, the article above, is only from a search I did on the name Isaac Bryant. I don't know if it fits into my search or not yet.
