    3. This message is posted with permission from our list administrator. (Pam - I decided to post to this list only for now and not to wait on a response from the Schoolcraft list after all.) I have just completed the second edition of a self published book titled "The SCHOOLCRAFT Families of Schoharie, NY and Missisquoi County, QC" that is available on CD-ROM. This book comprises over 600 pages of information; 200 pages of discussion and explanation plus 400 pages of genealogical reports and citations. The scope of the book includes a review of the English ancestry from the early 1600s to James Schoolcraft, who was born in 1688. The families of the children of James Schoolcraft and Anna Christina Kammer are discussed with a review of their descendents. The genealogical reports detail the families to the level of their 3rd great grandchildren in Quebec and 2nd great grandchildren in Schoharie - i.e. descendents having births typically between 1800 and 1850. This book DOES NOT DISCUSS Austien Schoolcraft, the child of James Schoolcraft and Magdalena. If your Schoolcraft connection is from that line then this book is unlikely to be of help. (Should you require information on the English ancestry, I may be able to assist via private email.) If you believe you might be interested in obtaining a copy please email me at dr.ellis@physics.org so that I may provide you with further details. David Ellis
