Hi Tucky, Thanks for the information. Does it mention the names of the KERR children and did they die young or was it the mother Marion that died young? Our James Kerr supposably had three or four daughters; Mildred (COTY), Hattie (CLARK), Maude (m. FULLER, then PENNAYER) and Jenima(CARBEE). Of these daughters I have a picture of Hattie and her husband Will CLARK and also the History of Compton County mentions Jenima KERR, daughter of James KERR marrying Alphonso CARBEE who was a councillor in Waterville. That's all I have though. Thanks to Bev in the Waterville area I found the land location I was searching for (Lot 28, Range 1) which is on the border of Compton and Ascot townships. My next plan is to get a copy of a good survey map, pin it on my wall and track these people as precisely as I can! Thanks again, Joan > Joan -- don't know about the Range #1 but checked my History of > Stanstead for KERR - found only one instance of a James C.
