    3. There were also certainly bears on Mont Sutton (then called Roundhead), and in the vicinity of Glen Sutton, and Dunkin in the 1950's and 1960's. My father used to go bear hunting during that period, but I don't think he ever shot one! There was always the danger when one went to collect wild blackberries and raspberries that bears would be in the area.
